Andrew joined Farmanco in February 2019, after spending 2.5 years with ConsultAg as an Agronomist. Based in the Kojonup office, Andrew provides agronomy services to Farmanco clients in the great southern and south coast regions, in particular the areas of Boyup Brook, Darkan, Kojonup, Frankland, Mt Barker, Gardiner, Wellstead, Bremer Bay and South Stirling’s.
Growing up on the family farm east of Mukinbudin was the foundation on which Andrew developed the drive and determination to seek a career in the Ag industry.
After completing a Bachelor of Science majoring in Agricultural Science at UWA, Andrew sought a career in agronomy. Prior to working with ConsultAg, Andrew worked with AGT conducting plant breeding trials across WA, while also having the opportunity to travel to Germany to assist in their plant breeding operations.
Now working within the high rainfall zone, Andrew is keen to apply skills he has developed and learnt within the range of farming systems in the area. Using a fresh approach, he takes pride in working with clients to achieve the best outcomes for their businesses and help achieve their goals. Andrew is particularly enthusiastic about the future of agriculture incorporating new technologies into the system, particularly looking at assisting clients get the best use out of precision agriculture and improve profitability through increased efficiency and productivity.
